Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Nexus Market's website, marketplace, and forum (together, the "Site") and your account on the companion game server. By registering an account you agree to follow them. We may update these terms from time to time; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the update.

You're responsible for keeping your password and any linked sign-in methods secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Don't share your account, and tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it. Accounts are personal — one account per player unless a moderator says otherwise.

Mesos and items are only worth what they are here — this Site does not support and will not assist with real-money trading (RMT): buying, selling, or trading in-game currency or items for real money, gift cards, or anything outside the game's own economy. Listings and trades exist to move items between players using mesos only.

Completed trades are generally final. Report a scam or a stuck trade to a moderator rather than trying to resolve it yourself — retaliatory scamming is a bannable offense on both sides.

Don't exploit bugs, use unauthorized third-party programs, or otherwise cheat, on the Site or in the game. If you find a bug, especially one that affects items, mesos, or account security, report it instead of using it — see the bug board. Exploiting a known bug after it's been reported, or before we've had a chance to fix it, is treated the same as using an unauthorized program.

Treat other players the way you'd want to be treated. Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, and targeted abuse aren't allowed anywhere on the Site, including usernames, listing descriptions, forum posts, and signatures. Keep NSFW and other shock content out of public areas.

No political statements.This includes forum posts, signatures, guild names/descriptions, and any other public-facing text on the Site. We're a game community, not a venue for real-world political, religious, or similarly divisive debate — keep that discussion elsewhere.

Don't advertise other private servers, or use the Site to recruit players away to them.

Moderators and admins (in-game GMs and site staff) can remove content, cancel or reverse listings, and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, at their discretion. Actions taken in good faith to keep the community and economy healthy aren't up for negotiation, though you're welcome to ask a moderator to explain a decision.

You keep ownership of anything you post (forum threads, replies, listing descriptions, signatures), but by posting it you let us display it on the Site as part of normal operation, and let other players view and discuss it. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

This is a fan-run, non-commercial project. The Site and the game are provided "as is," with no guarantee of uptime, data retention, or that any particular feature keeps working. Items, mesos, and accounts exist only within the game and have no real-world monetary value; we're not liable for losses from downtime, bugs, rollbacks, or account action taken under these terms.

If anything here is unclear, ask a moderator on the forum or through the Site's support channels before you run into trouble, not after.
